Established in 2017 in South Africa, Still Rolling is a dynamic and innovative film and television production startup with a mission to create real, groundbreaking, and unapologetic stories for the youth. Led by founder and director Lebo Magolego, the company has already made significant strides in the industry.
Lebo Magolego's remarkable journey began with the selection of her documentary photograph for a group exhibition among the Top 10 Finalists in the MTN Conversing The Land emerging visual arts competition at University of Johannesburg Art Gallery in 2019. In 2020, her talent was recognized once again as she secured a spot as one of the top 5 finalists in an emerging documentary filmmaker competition, an initiative by Trace and The Gauteng Film Commission. The same year brought further accolades as her feature film script, "City Jo!", claimed the prestigious best script award in the film category at the Ishashalazi Theatre Awards.
Currently, Still Rolling is gearing up for the highly anticipated release of their debut short film documentary, "Mamelodi: A Timeline of Heroes!" This project is a collaborative effort with Mošito wa Mamelodi's Aubrey Mogase, promising to captivate audiences with a compelling exploration of history and heroism.
